trees and carvings. not 'tree carvings' @Pompeii

I loved the view in the photo below... a cool tree at the end of this road, behind ruins and in front of the mountains:

Then... same tree from a different location!

As we liked to say about many things in Vietnam, "Same same, but different."

The following carvings are from the same area, as we were on our way to see the amphitheater:

There was a tree in Pavia with these spiky pieces hanging all over. The ones on the tree were green and the ones that had fallen to the ground were brown, like the one below:

There are all some great trees around the apartment building next to time... I'm not sure what these are...?
