Christopher Columbus in Barcelona

There is a large Columbus Monument in Barcelona, Spain at the end of La Rambla (a main touristy street). The monument is 60 meters tall and he overlooks the sea, pointing off into the distance. The monument represents him reporting back to the King and Queen after his first voyage.

I liked the way the light looked around the monument as we walked up from the end of La Rambla, to the back of Christopher Columbus (you will see in the other photos that it was actually quite a blue-sky day).
