La Scala - the ballet!

After Sean headed back to Colorado, Mom and Dad were interested in going to the opera house for a show.

We grabbed some last-minute tickets for a great price and went to see the ballet!

...The experience was cool - and La Scala is a gorgeous theater... but it's definitely structured for fashion before function. You really can't see at all (and are not comfortable) unless you are in the front row and center of the balcony... or the ground floor.

(Nor did we quite understand the story line... but we enjoyed the experience overall.)

La Scala is quite unique... the sides of the theater go straight up all of the way around the stage... there are a ton of balcony box seats!
