I love that poppies grow wild in fields throughout this area of Italy. There used to be an open field of them along the tram line into the city... I had been planning to get out there to see it and take some photos... ooooonly to find out that they've now planted corn in this field. D'Oh! I've just seen random poppies here and there... which still makes me happy : )
